What are the main fault phenomena of brakes?
The reliability of the brake is directly related to the safety of personnel and equipment, so the requirements for its reliability are particularly high. However, at present, there are many faults of the hydraulic push rod brake used by people, and the fault phenomena are mainly as follows: (1) The square coupling between the motor shaft and the impeller shaft falls off after loosening, and the motor shaft idles and the hydraulic cylinder does not act. (2) The push rod of the hydraulic push rod loosener is bent and deformed, and the brake loosener does not work properly. (3) The spring of the hydraulic push rod brake is broken, and the brake cannot be closed. (4) The movable hinge point of the brake frame is stuck, and the opening and closing of the brake is slow, or does not act. (5) The movable hinge bolt of the brake frame is loose, and the brake is not in place; (6) The brake belt and brake wheel are seriously worn, and the braking torque becomes smaller or loses the braking torque. (7) The driving motor of the hydraulic push rod brake loosener is out of phase, and the motor and the brake loosener do not move. The above-mentioned faults directly lead to the reduction of the reliability of the lifting mechanism and the luffing mechanism of the gantry crane, especially the braking failure of the descending process and the amplification process, which seriously endangers the production safety, so improving the reliability of the lifting mechanism and the luffing mechanism brake has always been the point of our equipment management and technical research.
